We can all benefit from meaningful conversations with the people in our lives. Having chats that hold space to learn, express appreciation and develop empathy for one another.
Enter, a conversations event.
So what is a conversations event?
It’s a facilitated experience where you sit with the person you’re attending with, and engage in a few structured activities. You’ll reflect on what you like about each other, exchange stories from your lives, and reminisce with a few shared memories.
At the end of the event, you’ll feel closer to the person you’ve attended with.
"We exchanged 3 words of affirmation of each other. We answered three questions about ourselves. The highlight is thinking about which 3 words I liked most of him, and the affirmation I felt hearing what he said about me. I feel seen."
Loong, who attended an event in London UK with his partner.
"We’ve known each other for about 15 years but the questions brought up things in a way that we don’t generally get to talk to each other like. Especially the 3 words to describe each other." - Flo, who attended an event in Melbourne Australia with a friend.
This event is for you if:
You like meaningful conversations
You love showing your appreciation for people
You enjoy laughing about shared memories
You just read the description and are curious to see what it’s all about
"Be open minded - come with your memories and leave with a laugh having added to what you know." - Dielle, who attended an event in Toronto Canada with a friend.
"It doesn't need to be your thing to give it a try. I didn't think it would be for me but I really enjoyed it and will be back again." - Neil, who attended an event in Aberdeen Scotland with his mum.
When, where and how much?
The event is taking place on Friday 18th October from 7pm-8.30pm at Milk Cafe, Victoria Road, Glasgow.
Each ticket is for two people. Register for free, or pay if you can (suggested £10 for 2 people).
