This Book Week Scotland (18th- 24th November) join Glasgow Libraries for our citywide packed programme of inspiring, interesting and entertaining bookish events for people of all ages.
We are delighted to welcome bestselling author Sara Sheridan, in conversation with author Kirsten MacQuarrie to Dennistoun Library.
Sara, author of ‘The Fair Botanists’ (Waterstones Scottish Book of the Year 2022), will discuss her new novel ‘The Secrets of Blythswood Square’, which has been longlisted for Scotland’s National Book Awards 2024.
Sara’s enchanting new novel set in Glasgow in 1846, beautifully depicts a city on the cusp of great social change and the scandalous secrets being kept on Blythswood Square, which if revealed have the potential to destroy everything Charlotte Nicholl and Ellory Mann have fought to build - or set them both free?
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
