Following on from a sold out show at the Glad Cafe for Glasgow Americana in 2023, Belfast-based songwriter Anthony Toner makes a welcome return to the venue for a Sunday afternoon show in September!

Anthony is continuing to grow a strong following in Scotland with an ongoing series of folk club shows - and after almost a decade as special guest for folk legend Barbara Dickson on her UK tours.
His breakthrough song 'Sailortown' remains one of Northern Ireland radio's most requested songs and with fourteen albums under his belt, he has a vast array of insightful and memorable songs to choose from, including live favourites like 'The Road to Fivemiletown', 'Well Well Well', 'Exit Wounds', 'An Alphabet' and many more.
Expect some peerless fingerstyle guitar (influenced by James Taylor with a dash of John Prine), some slide blues, some well-chosen covers, some excellent patter and stories from the road - and perhaps even some readings from a selection of contemporary Irish poets.
