Saskia Holling will be facilitating the workshop. She was bassist and a singer with the Scottish garage grrrl band Sally Skull in the 1990’s and continues to play music to this day with various bands based in Scotland. She also writes books about women in music. Sally Skull feature prominently in the recent documentary 'Since Yesterday', which sheds a light on the group's music and references the importance of the fanzine subculture within the Scottish music scene during the ‘90s.
Saskia will share with us her skills and enthusiasm for zine-making, helping to guide you through the process so that you can produce your very own music fanzine.
There’s no need to book, just drop in anytime between 1 and 4pm to take part in this activity.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
