A games night with a difference as we explore how games and gaming help us imagine space and place.
From VR and desktop adventures, to card-based and tabletop games, there is something for everyone and a host of exciting new experiences available to play, watch, and enjoy.
- Explore the construction of St Giles Cathedral and the importance of traditional ecological knowledge in VR with Education Evolved
- Experience the 1885 Cambodian uprising against French colonial power through an expansive wargame
- Preview Hyperrealestate, a work-in-progress walking simulator world populated by a mass of zombie presidents.
- Explore the potential of VR for museum exploration with ARC XR - or use it to shoot, slash, or even paint your way through some innovative games!
- The University Games Society will showcase a variety of games of the video, board, and card varieties!
- Enjoy retro gaming on a muti-game arcade machine with some classic titles
- Table football and table tennis available for the older than old-school gamers!
- Mario Kart on the big screen because……well, Mario Kart.
