With our guide Louise, take a stroll through the historic streets of the Merchant City and dive into the incredible stories of Glasgow’s game-changing women. From bold suffragettes and witches to fearless local legends and fiery freedom fighters, this tour brings the city’s past to life, with plenty of surprises along the way!
What to Expect:
• Uncover the stories of the first women’s societies in Glasgow
• Hear what happened in the early suffragette meetings around the city
• Learn about Glasgow’s connections to the transatlantic slave trade
• Be inspired by Glaswegian women’s roles in key political and social movements
