What are public diners? Public diners are state supported, affordable restaurants serving good meals to the general public. They operated under the banner of 'British Restaurants' in the 1940s and 50s. They also exist in different forms across the world today. Read more about public diners here.
The pop up suppers: We are taking the campaign for public diners across the country with a series of pop up suppers.
We invite you to the public diner conversation by joining us for supper in Glasgow. This supper will be held in collaboration with Central and West Integration Network (CWIN) at their regular community meal. We want to think together about how these diners should look in our future.
If these prices are a barrier to your attendance, please send us an email to receive a free code. For all enquiries email Abigail: abigail@nourishscotland.org.uk
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
