Award-winning comedian and writer – Kate Hammer, is a fresh face and also entire person forged in the comedy, writing, and performance scenes, living it up in Scotland! They have performed internationally as an improviser, stand-up, sketch comedian, and actor.
Kate won Runner-Up Best Local Troupe at Montreal Sketchfest ‘19, as well as being nominated for three FRANKIE awards at the 2019 Montreal Fringe for the show she wrote, directed, produced, and acted in "he Peers" (JFL Best Comedy, Segal Centre Best Theatre Company, and Freestanding Room’s Making Big Things Happen in Small Spaces).
Kate Hammer “Head Shark” also happens to knows lot about goats and their cheese, so please feel free to start up a conversation anytime you see fit, in any way safe and possible.

Runner for the Billy Connolly Spirit of Glasgow award 2025 and Inaugural winner of Outstanding Contribution to Comedy at The Scottish Comedy Awards – Viv Gee was a finalist in So You Think You’re Funny and the BBC Open Mic Awards. Since then has performed comedy from L.A to Bangkok. She has compered various festivals including T in the Park and Glasgow’s New Year celebrations.
TV and Radio appearances include Lorraine Kelly’s Make Me Happier on STV and many BBC shows including: Stake Out, Hedz, River City, Revolver, The Comedy Underground and The Gates and she also happens to be a personal favourite!
