Thursday 10th/17th and 24th of July 6.30-8.30pm
At this 3-part workshop you will make a planter from scratch. Using the coiling method to handbuild the vessel, you will then add decorative elements such as adding handles or using sgraffito to etch in drawings and patterns. For the last workshop, you will be given your newly fired vessel for you to paint using our glazes.
This workshop is suitable for all ability levels.
Max height 35cm.
Accessibility
Art Space G41 does not have a wheelchair accessible bathroom. The Shawlands Arcade walkway is accessible via ramp and the front door of Art Space can be made accessible using a removable wheelchair ramp. We try to keep the format of our classes accessible for everyone.
Our cancellation policy and ceramic policy can be found in the 'About the Space' tab of our website. Please read these before attending.

Art Space G41
Crafts, Creativity, Community
We are a community interest group running classes, workshops and providing creative workspace for local artists. Art Space G41 is a space where health, wellbeing and creativity come together. This space is here to connect with the community through creative workshops and events. We strive for inclusivity and offer concession tickets to all of our workshops.
Pottery Pickup
When we have a kiln to unload of finished work, this will be notified via our media channels. Please check these regularly regarding the status of your items. It is the responsibility of the participant to check in by phoning, emailing or visiting the space to collect items. We will retain fired items for one month after firing is completed. Please be sure to check so that you can take home your lovely pieces within the timeframe outlined. Many thanks.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
