Charlie Miller and Derek Ferguson will be visiting the Princess Bar to talk to fans about their memorable careers playing for the team they supported as boys.
Charlie Miller played in the team that won 9-in-a-row and famously threw in the pinpoint cross for the Brian Laudrup header that won that historic Premier Division title. Charlie has great stories about Gazza, Super Ally, The Great Dane, The Goalie and, of course, his managers, Walter Smith and Dick Advocaat.
Derek Ferguson is the youngest player to have played a competitive game for Rangers – he was just 16 years and 24 days old when he debuted in 1983. He had already played for the first team before then, but in a friendly (Tom Forsyth’s testimonial) when aged just 15!
Derek played under John Greig, Jock Wallace and Graeme Souness and alongside legends like Davie Cooper, Derek Johnstone, Terry Butcher, Ian Durrant and Ally McCoist. Barry’s big brother is now a pundit on Radio Scotland’s Sportsound.
Fergie and Charlie will also answer questions from bluenoses in the audience.
There will be a raffle and a chance to bid for Rangers memorabilia in the event auction.
