This event is about neighbours getting together to connect with one another, and support grassroots ideas and projects in the Southside of Glasgow.
Attendees register for a ticket and hear 3 presentations on ideas or projects based in Glasgow Southside. Everyone enjoys a bowl of soup and some live entertainment, while voting for one of the presentations. The presenter who receives the most votes takes home part of the money raised from ticket sales, and returns to the next SOUP event to update us on their progress.
The format is simple;
THREE minute presentations, on
THREE projects based in Glasgow Southside, followed by
THREE questions from the audience.
General admission tickets are priced by ‘pay what you can’. 50% of ticket money will go into a pot for the presenters, and 50% will go towards covering event costs. Our cost to run the event is approximately £5 per person, so we suggest paying £10 for a ticket if you can.
£10 ticket = £5 to presenter's pot, £5 to event costs
Importantly we do not want price to be a barrier for anyone wanting to attend. Please get in touch if this might be the case: glasgowsoupevents@gmail.com
Please note: this event has a maximum capacity, and we expect to sell out, so grab your tickets ASAP!
