We are celebrating Glasgow 850 on our Open Day on 31st August. In addition to enjoying our beautiful garden and the delicious offerings of our pop up cafe, you can take part in our Glasgow 850 Celebration activities.
Throughout the day, you can make your own postcard to celebrate what you love about Glasgow. At 1pm and 3pm you can try Hapa Zome, (bashing a flower on to fabric, a wee linen bag) and you can take home the wee bag you decorate.
Between 1-3pm you can also take part in an arts workshop run by Visual Artist Marion Gardyne and again take home your art work.
From 2-3pm, Steven Clark will do a live music set featuring well known Glasgow songs and introducing some new ones.
Drop in at any time on 31st and enjoy our oasis in the city. Children should be accompanied by an adult.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
