Join Rachel Huggins, member of the Scottish Book Trust for lively readings of 'Kipper the Sea Dragon' and 'Bertie the Moon Dragon.’ These engaging sessions feature beloved songs from the productions and handcrafted puppets that bring the stories to life. This unique blend of illustrated books and live theatre is perfect for all children, offering an enchanting experience. Rachel's Books will be available to purchase from our shop on the day, if you wish to continue reading at home.
Kipper the Sea Dragon:
The coral reef is a great place to swim, have fun and meet lots of friends. One day, when all the beautiful colours get washed away, Kipper the Sea Dagon must search the ocean to find where the colours have gone. Helped by a family of seahorses, a sleepy starfish and a naughty crab, Kipper manages to save the day and bring joy and colour back to the seabed.
Bertie the Moon Dragon:
Bertie the Moon Dragon has one job to do; wake the Moon each night so it can shine with the beautiful light. But one sunny afternoon Bertie falls fast asleep, and misses his cue to wake the Moon and lift it up into the sky! With the help of Owl and all her wisdom, can Bertie get to the Moon in time, to light the sky? Only an Owl knows what to tawit-ta-do!
Live Literature Funded.
