We’ll be open and closing later than usual and offering frequent free bus rides in the afternoon and evening between Bridgeton Bus Garage and the City Centre, giving visitors the rare change to ride on vintage buses in the dusk and dark.
Like all GVVT events, they are packed with added attractions … SIM 1, our fun bus driving simulator, PlayStation games, Wee Happy Bus and Wee Happy Shop, fresh Archive & Museum display, Clippies Café and free classic city shuttle service.
You can pay on the door (cash and card accepted) for our events or purchase tickets in advance from our online shop.
Ticket prices: Adult £6, Concession £5, Child £4, Family £17, Carer £2.
Child tickets are for children aged 3-15. A family ticket is valid for 2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children. Under 3’s are admitted free and don’t require a ticket!
The Clippie’s Cafe will be open for hot and cold snacks and refreshments.
The GVVT Wee Happy Shop will be open selling books, models and merchandise.
We hope to have a small number of visiting vehicles on display to compliment the vehicles in the GVVT collection.
A free shuttle service will operate every 10/15 minutes between the Garage and City Centre/Buchanan Bus Stn, the full route and times to be confirmed.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
