A fundraising evening of performance, poetry & prizes, plus special guest Kirstin Innes.
We're back for our fourth fundraiser event, this time at The Marlborough in Shawlands.
Join us at the B-Side vinyl lounge bar in this iconic venue for an evening of poetry and performance, with drinks, canapés, book swap and prizes to be won. Plus a special guest slot from wonderful author Kirstin Innes and music from Hannah Doyle.
The open mic ticket includes a short open mic spot to share your creative work (poems, prose, music) - we want to hear your voice and your experiences on motherhood, parenthood, matrescence, birth, mental health, pregnancy, grief, joy, identity shifts and community - whatever is important to you.
There are plenty of guest tickets available too if you don't want to perform.
We are thrilled to have guest performances from Kirstin Innes and Hannah Doyle plus our open mic sessions.
- All tickets include a welcome drink (alcoholic and non alcoholic), canapés and amazing sweet treats from Tantrum Doughnuts.
- We encourage you to bring a book you've read and loved to pass to someone else. We'll host a book swap and there will be amazing raffle prizes too.
- All proceeds will go to Tommy's, the pregnancy and baby loss charity and 4Louis, a charity supporting families with child loss.
