An Clachan Café has an excellent reputation for the range of our cuisine and our friendly service. We have a diverse menu of food, which is all sourced locally where possible. Most of our food and ingredients are Fairtrade and organic. All of our delicious food is cooked on our premises. We offer great service in a delightful setting. Why not call us today?
An Clachan, Gaelic for ‘the village’ was the name of the reproduction of a Highland village for the 1911 Scottish Exhibition of National History, Art and Industry held in the park, which attracted in excess of nine and a half million visitors. A commemorative cairn marking the site can be found by the footpath near the Kelvin on the other side of the park, and it is this cairn that gave the owners the name for the café.
Situated on the edge of the Glasgow's fashionable West End, two minutes from vibrant Finnieston and within easy walking distance of Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, with views towards Glasgow University Tower, the café is perfectly situated to access many of Glasgow's hottest desinations.
We get our coffee from Dear Green, a local Glasgow roastery.
Our café is a haven amongst the trees in Kelvingrove Park, with great food, herbal teas and access to Wi-Fi.
So treat yourself to an exquisite array of Fairtrade coffee and teas, alongside our sumptuously prepared range of sandwiches, soups and home baking.
