Baby 'n' You is run by Suzanne Scott, who has been a qualified paediatric nurse with a BSc in Health Studies since 2001. Suzy worked in Yorkhill Sick Children’s Hospital for 7 years and in Australia for 1 year.

During these years, Suzy developed an interest in complimentary therapies and achieved an Advanced Level Diploma in Clinical Aromatherapy 2003. Suzy’s experience with children and babies steered her into discovering more child positive therapies, which naturally led her to become a certified infant massage instructor (CIMI) with The International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM) in 2007. After this to compliment baby massage Suzy then studied for a year with Birthlight to attain a Diploma in Baby Yoga in 2008.

Since starting Baby n You 3 years ago Suzy has studied to become a certified HypnoBirthing Practitioner in 2008 , Kindermusik Educator in 2008 and Certified Happiest Baby on the Block Educator in 2009. Suzy also has attained Level 1 and Level 2 in Usui/Tibetan system of Reiki Healing in 2007 and 2008 respectively.

Baby 'n' You offers a friendly and fun way for you to bond with your baby. It provides important stimulation for all of your baby’s senses and also promotes specific health benefits giving you and your baby the best possible start in life.

Baby Massage

You don’t need any experience with massage and we will provide everything you need to begin a new and fun way to bond with your baby including organic baby massage oil and notes at the end of the course. The baby massage courses are by appointment only as there are only 8 places in each baby massage class to make sure that you get lots of one-to-one attention and each course lasts for five weekly sessions. Each session is approximately one hour and is suitable for all babies from new born to six months.

For a lot of new parents this is the first class they attend so don’t worry if you are running a little late or you are tired or baby is having a bad day everyone is in the same boat and it’s great to have a chat with other new parents going through exactly the same experience. What makes Baby 'n' You special is that there is plenty of time after class for complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits and a good chance to make new friends that could last a lifetime!!

Beginners Baby Yoga

Beginners Baby Yoga is held on Thursdays 13.15 - 14.00
Beginners Baby Yoga is for babies from 6 weeks - 5 months. Babies must have passed their 6 week check with their GP prior to the first class. Baby n You baby yoga focuses on baby so don't worry if you aren't a bendy yogi !! For this age group the focus is on building neck strength, some core work, balance and co-ordination. The classes are full of song, bubbles, ribbons and scarves. The block is over 5 weeks and costs £45.

All classes are taught by Suzy who holds a current PVG and Enhanced Disclosure Scotland. Suzy is a former paediatric nurse and has been running Baby n You in the West End for 9 years.

After every class there is always time for complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits which is just as important as the class itself. Having a chance to speak to other parents is so essential to your sanity especially in the early days!! There is a dedicated room with some toys for the babies to play with to enjoy a cuppa and a chat - there is also a sunny garden and fingers crossed we can use it soon !!

Advanced Baby Yoga

Advanced Baby Yoga is held on Thursdays at 10.30 - 11.15 Fridays at 13.15 - 14.00
Advanced Baby Yoga is for babies 5 months - 1 year (baby dependent). If you have an 'older' baby and would like to come along to this class it is no problem if they have never been to yoga before or completed the Beginner Yoga class. Advanced Yoga is named so because bigger babies are capable of more advanced moves as they are stronger. In these classes we look at core strength, balances, inversions, flips and co-ordination. These classes are also full or song and colour. The 5 week block costs £45.
