Hidden from view in the city’s cultural Merchant City next to our very own City Halls, it forms part of Glasgow’s Centre for Music.
Our entrancing venue has kept all of its period charm, including its lofty vaulted roof (now much more watertight than back in the Victorian era!) cast iron columns and balcony. As its name suggests, this was once where you’d be more likely to find stalls of fruit and vegetables on offer than entertainment!
