About The Vanguard Centre
Archery
Have you ever wanted to do some archery in Glasgow? Now you can, at the Vanguard Centre and its indoor archery range! We provide regular archery sessions here at The Vanguard Centre. Classes are suitable for ages 12 years and over.
Full instruction and equipment is provided by the centre so why not come along and see if archery is for you!
We have regular schedules classes throughout the week. Sessions are 90 minutes long and 9 places are available at each session.
Private archery tuition and party bookings are also available weekdays from 12 noon until 4pm and we have some availability at weekends. Contact us for booking and pricing.
Historical European Martial Arts
We teach various forms of HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts) including medieval and renaissance sword fighting, where we recreate these historical fencing systems from centuries-old textbooks written by fencing masters of the past. Come along to our weekly classes and learn how sword fighting was really done.
