Stephen O’Neil Art and Gifts, located in Pollokshaws Road, Shawlands, and owned by Stephen and his wife Louise – www.stephenoneil.co.uk – opened its doors on January 30th, although Stephen had been running his own art business for some time as he explains. “After being in business for eight years, I decided it was time to have our own bricks and mortar venture to showcase my work.
“My work features on the walls, along with my prints and gift range in the shop. I would describe my architectural and iconic prints as distinctive with their use of bold block colours and images. We also have a selection of quirky jewellery by local designers and home wear gifts and cards for all occasions. The GCAF will be an excellent vehicle to showcase what we do.”
Stephen’s Irn-Bru print was a top seller in the recent RSA Open Exhibition in Edinburgh and will be available at the GCAF which takes place between Friday 24th and Sunday 26th April.
The opening times are as follows – Friday 24th April 6 pm – 9 pm; Saturday 25th April 9.30 am – 5.30 pm; Sunday 26th April 10 am – 5 pm.
The Friday will be a Preview Evening, with tickets priced at £14 for two people, offering guests live music, courtesy of the Ritz Trio, and complimentary champagne while entrance fees on the Saturday and Sunday will be just £3 per adult with children under 15 free of charge.
