The destination bar, restaurant and bowling alley has announced its packed programme to celebrate the start of spring, with leading artists on the lineup.
Celebrating different themes each month with magnetic views of the city, VEGA will serve up two editions of the Brunch Project over the next few months:
Saturday 18 May, 12 - 4pm - ‘90s
Saturday 15 June, 12-4pm - Ibiza Classics
Advance booking essential - www.vegaglasgow.com
Elevating days outs, brunches are £45pp and include welcome snacks, two classic cocktails, one brunch main meal, themed entertainment and a half bottle of Bottega prosecco for VEGA’s classic ‘Build Your Own’ bellini station with fruit purees.
90s kids can revisit their heyday at May’s Brunch Project with entertainment from singing sensations Havana Blonde, as the duo bring 90s nostalgia to the glitzy bar. Playing all the decade’s biggest hits, brunch goers can belt out hits from Shania Twain, Britney Spears, Destiny’s Child, *Nsync, Spice Girls, Backstreet Boys, All Saints and more, soundtracked by the glamorous Havana Blonde. 90s babies can toast to themselves at VEGA’s nostalgic brunch - whether it’s turning the big 30, a hen party or a girls day out, expect cheesy pop and the biggest hits from 90s boy bands and girl bands to relive the decade in style.
The perfect way to prep for summer holidays, June’s Ibiza Classics Brunch Project will welcome live saxophonist Alika Sax plus the very best colourful-clad feather dancers and performers. Whilst sunshine in Scotland isn’t guaranteed, VEGA’s Ibiza brunch will recreate the party island with summer decorations and flowing cocktails. Expect an afternoon of club classics from the 90s to 00s and modern day, island vibes and fruity cocktails all guaranteed to get you partying like you’re on the White Isle itself.
The Brunch Project sees VEGA bring elevated days out to Glasgow city centre, with bigger and better entertainment than ever before plus decor and themed cocktails to match.
Tuck into brunch dishes like french toast, eggs benedict or full breakfasts with vegan versions to match, before concocting your own bellinis with VEGA’s famous ‘Build Your Own’ bellini station. Change up your drinks with a fruit puree station to top off a half bottle of Bottega prosecco per person, before sipping on cocktails whipped up by VEGA’s expert bartenders. From Boe Violet Gins, Absolut Raspberri and more, VEGA will bring the summer vibes to Saturday brunch.
Guests can take in incredible views of the city from VEGA’s floor to ceiling windows and snap a lasting memory in the photobooth before continuing the party in the venue’s epic disco lift - no brunch trip is complete without it!
The fun themed Brunch Projects take over VEGA on select Saturdays each month for the ultimate celebrations and disco dancing day out, with brunches dedicated to everything from ABBA, movie soundtracks and girl power.
In addition to the Brunch Project events, VEGA runs a monthly Disco Brunch, now renowned as the ultimate boozy brunch in Glasgow. Running the first Saturday of every month, the top floor venue’s Disco Brunches welcome guests for an afternoon of disco dancing and cocktails with entertainment ranging from roller skating disco dancers, DJs, performers and more. VEGA takes over the entire seventh floor of YOTEL Glasgow, with neon-lit décor, a ten-pin bowling alley and its very own immersive disco lift.
