Hard Rock Cafe is getting set to celebrate its 45th birthday on 14 June 2016. American music lovers Isaac Tigrett and Peter Morton first opened the doors of Hard Rock Cafe in London 45 years ago and with its unique take on music, food and more an iconic brand was born. Party like it’s 1971 by celebrating the milestone in classic Hard Rock style, as Hard Rock Cafe Glasgow will be selling Hard Rock’s Legendary Burgers for just 71p for one sacred hour from 12-1pm on Tuesday 14 June 2016.
As a special birthday treat for anyone celebrating their 45th or 71st birthday on the same day, Hard Rock will be offering up the legendary burger to them for 71p all day, upon valid proof of date of birth. There’ll be 70s themed dress-up on the day, rockin’ music from the era and more, so be sure to bring your dancing shoes and dig out your best flares! What’s more, anyone who brings along a 45 vinyl record to the Cafe will also get to dine from Hard Rock’s special vinyl menu. This is all along with other surprises going on throughout the day.
The first piece of memorabilia to take pride of place at Hard Rock Cafe London was Eric Clapton’s guitar and the collection has grown to epic proportions. Now, hundreds upon thousands of unique pieces of memorabilia adorn the walls of Hard Rock Cafes around the globe, with incredible, one-off pieces from some of the world’s greatest performers, including Madonna, Jimi Hendrix, Rihanna, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones and many more. Hard Rock last year acquired its 80,000th piece of memorabilia – Elvis Presley’s gold leaf piano.
Now, on its 45th birthday, it’s clear to see why Hard Rock has stood the test of time and become one of the most-loved music and food brands. With the World’s best music memorabilia and a unique mix of music, cocktails and food, it’s no surprise Hard Rock has equated an impressive total of 165 cafes, 23 hotels and 11 casinos in 69 countries around the world.
So, dust off your best 70s outfits and get down to Hard Rock Cafe Glasgow to celebrate like its 1971. Hard Rock’s Legendary Burgers available for 71p for a limited time.
