Comic Con comes to The Quay

News has reached Gotham City that the award-winning entertainment complex The Quay has not only received a massive makeover and now boasts one of only two ODEON LUXE cinemas in Europe but also that the entertainment venue is hosting for the very first time Quay Comic Con on 11-12 November and Batman and Robin came for a pre event visit this week to check out the new superhero offerings.
The Quay is delighted to welcome The Big Glasgow Comic Page to present Quay Comic Con next weekend from 11am -5pm both days. The BGCP will be setting up the mini Con in the unit next to the brand new ODEON LUXE cinema and there will be approx 45 traders selling comics, graphic novels, crafts, art, Funko Pop figures and much more.
There will be a face painter, balloon maker, a cosplay competition and to celebrate the upcoming release of Justice League, there are some exclusive movie prizes to be won too.
That’s not all, there will be plenty of opportunities to have photos taken with some exciting characters like Batman & Robin and many others plus lots of the restaurants at The Quay will be offering superhero meal deals over the weekend for everyone that attends. Entry to the Comic Con is free and suitable for all ages.
The Quay Glasgow has been awarded the accolade of Scotland’s Best Entertainment Complex in both 2016 and 2017.
