An innovative new fitness studio has launched a class to change the way Glaswegians do business.
Two Birds Boutique Fitness offers health and career-focussed individuals a fun and efficient training session where professionals can burn calories and make connections.
The studio, based on Washington Street in the city’s business district, will officially open its doors on Wednesday, April 24 with a ‘SWEAT-working’ session. Participants will kill “two birds” – fitness and networking – with one stone, as they are put through an intense but fun workout, that allows networking in the breaks.
After the workout, the ‘SWEAT-workers’ will have the chance to relax and continue networking over a Dear Green coffee.
This event is the brainchild of entrepreneur and qualified personal trainer Daniel Stevenson, who co-owns the business with his brother Greg, also a personal trainer.
Also invested in the family business is father Neil, a successful entrepreneur and business leader who founded Transition Extreme Sports, a £2.7m extreme sports centre and social enterprise in Aberdeen which helps young people make the transition from childhood to adulthood.
Over the last two years, Two Birds Head Coach Daniel has established a loyal following for his motivational training classes and one-on-one coaching sessions but has now opened his own bespoke group training facility specially designed for efficient and varied full body workouts.
The 24-year-old said: “Two Birds is what Glasgow has been waiting for. The studio is now up and running, and our members are already seeing huge improvements to their health and wellbeing. Balance is key to a healthy lifestyle and people who make time for exercise perform better and are happier.
“We hope sweat-working will capture the imagination of Glasgow’s business community as a way to fit exercise into busy lifestyles. We believe we’ve created the perfect environment to help Glaswegians to be healthy, have fun and make valuable connections – both personal and professional.”
Two Birds Fitness offers full-body group workouts that burn fat, build lean muscle and can deliver dramatic results, as well as yoga and small-group personal training, all within a supportive community environment.
The Two Birds signature EARLYBIRD30, PEAK30 and PEAK45 full-body workouts, which last either 30 or 45 minutes, are perfect for busy corporates seeking a quick and effective session that guarantees results in a friendly environment. Membership is open to individuals, and corporations, many of whom have already signed-up for meetings with a difference.
Two Birds new boutique fitness studio is equipped with hand-picked premium Assault and Concept2 cardio equipment, high-quality free weights and boxing equipment. Clients can also benefit from MyZone heart rate tracking technology, a wearable device that uses wireless and cloud technology to accurately monitor physical activity during a workout.
The Two Birds Fitness ‘SWEAT-working’ event takes place at 5.30pm on Wednesday, April 24 at their new studio: 54 Washington Street, 2nd Floor – Axiom Building, Glasgow, G3 8AZ.
