Nominate a family for Breakfast or Brunch with Santa

Unity Enterprise‎ will be hosting Breakfast/Brunch with Santa, for families who would not normally be able to afford to take part in this type of festivity due to financial hardship.

Our Pay it Forward Scheme at the Spoon Cafe, offers individuals and families the dignity of being able to enjoy a meal in the cafe as any other paying customer would. For a second year on the 15th December we will be hosting Breakfast/Brunch with Santa, for families who would not normally be able to afford to take part in this type of festivity due to financial hardship.

This is a free event and each child/ adult will receive breakfast/brunch. Each child will receive an age appropriate gift and a meet and greet with Santa. There will also be entertainment provided by a children’s entertainer

Due to the generosity of our customers, breakfast or brunch will be served in the company of Santa, and he will distribute gifts to children, funded by Chance to Flourish, The Children’s Lottery.

One in five Scottish children lives in, or on the margins of poverty. Chance to Flourish works with charities, communities, families and carers with the aim of alleviating child poverty’s damaging effects nationwide.

The despair can be overwhelming for families living in poverty especially at this time of year. How can you make your money last long enough to feed yourself and your children, let alone buy them presents or take part in mainstream celebrations.

So, If you know a child between the ages of two and ten, who you would like to nominate to be included in our Christmas Festivities, here is what to do...

Email kirsteen.main@unity-enterprise.com with the name, age and gender of the child and contact details of the parent or guardian. (Permission from the parent/guardian to nominate the child must be given) by 28th November, and the reason for nominating.

If successful the family will be contacted by phone on Tuesday 3rd December between 9-4pm.

There are limited places for the event and each child must be accompanied by an adult. Each child/family will be allocated a specific time to attend the event is on the 15th December at Spoon Cafe, Trongate.
