Lucky guests to the multi-award-winning restaurant will not only enjoy a mouthwatering three-course menu served with a glass of pink prosecco, but all mums will receive a signed copy of Derek’s cookbook and a gift bag of indulgent creamy tablet to make their experience extra special.
Mums are sure to love his light spring dishes, such as a delicious chorizo salad with mackerel, Granny Smith, spiced lemon dressing or a zesty fresh prawn crayfish and smoked salmon cocktail, with smoked caviar and lime. You’ll also find classics like Derek’s famous fish soup - foup, made with Portland crabmeat, stem ginger and coriander.
Only the very best of Scottish produce feature on the menu at Gamba. Showstopping Mother’s Day mains include grass-fed, dry-aged Sirloin Scotch steak, South Shian salmon with orange Teriyaki, pineapple and fluffy Jasmine rice and baked grey sole with red peppers, prawns, olives, capers, garlic and aged balsamic.
With indulgent desserts to finish like white chocolate cheesecake with pear & stem ginger and raspberry sorbet, there’s no better place to celebrate your mum than with an unforgettable meal at Gamba.
Derek Marshall said: “Mother’s Day is a chance to celebrate the leading lady in your life.”
“As a big thank you to all mums - step, foster and mums to be, we’d like to treat them for all that they do. Alongside a special meal out, any mums joining us on Mother’s Day will be surprised with foodie gifts - my cookbook and gift bag of tablet at their table. These treats are the perfect way to show wonderful mums just how special they are and reward our loyal customers for joining us.”
