Golf lovers can book their putting places to tee off in August from www.foreplaycrazygolf.co.uk
The team have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure that they can open in the best possible way; bringing you quality moments, whilst keeping Glasgow putting lovers, safe and sound.
Fore Play Crazy Golf has successfully been awarded Visit Scotland’s “We’re Good To Go” - the official UK mark to signal that a tourism and hospitality business has worked hard to follow Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines and has a process in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing. On top of this they have also achieved the AA Hotel and Hospitality Covid Confident accreditation, putting safety front of mind for their guests.
Safety measures at their Kinning Park venue will include complimentary disposable gloves and masks for golfers, ordering food and drinks online via your mobile phone and bright wayfinding signage to encourage social distancing. Hand sanitisers, dedicated cleaning stations and new modular dining pods will also be in place to improve ventilation and safety as standard.
The social venue also welcomes two new Glasgow-inspired industrial courses, with the 9-hole crazy golf courses being ready to play next month with bookings now online.
Visitors can expect guaranteed fun on the green; watch out for tricky The Clyde Ship Tunnel and the infamous giant 9-foot Cone hole hazards, combined with tasty street food from their resident trader - LOADED, and boozy cocktails from their bar.
Craig Neilson, Chief Greenkeeper at Fore Play Crazy Golf said: “At Fore Play Crazy Golf we combine the craziest of golf courses, with a fun atmosphere loaded with high quality food and drinks.
“By achieving our industry standard covid accreditation from two of the UK’s leading organisations, we wanted to reassure our guests that safety is front of mind for when they visit without compromising on any of the fun you know and love us for.”
Speaking about reopening, Craig continues: “It’s been a difficult journey over the past few months for all in our industry and we have created some sympathetic and subtle changes in our venue in line with Government guidelines to keep guests safe.
“Before COVID hit we had painstakingly created our most exciting course yet for Glasgow, paying homage to the bygone shipbuilding heritage of our Dear Green place and we can’t to watch our guests take on the tricky and competitive courses. Who’s ready to play?”
