With over £5000 worth of hotel stays to be won, the Ready, Set, Yo! social game is live on YOTEL Glasgow’s Instagram - @yotelglasgow from tomorrow where you’ll find the hotel alongside five other iconic Glasgow landmarks and giant purple key cards to celebrate their opening.
To play and be in with a chance of winning one of 50 stays, simply go on a virtual city tour of Glasgow using the Ready, Set, Yo! map, then choose your favourite iconic landmark image to share on your Instagram (grid or stories), tagging @yotelglasgow). The virtual game is live from Wednesday 12 May until Sunday 16 May with winners being announced each day.
Staying at YOTEL Glasgow means spending time in the city’s smartest hotel, taking the essential elements of a luxury hotel stay to offer modern travellers everything they need and nothing they don’t. Created for those who like to challenge the status quo, the brand offers a unique hotel experience that’s so much more than just a great night’s sleep.
Located bang right in the city centre, the hotel has 257 modern cabins (YOTEL speak for bedrooms), each cabin equipped with features including an adjustable SmartBed™ with gel cooled mattresses, refreshing rain showers, Smart TVs and free super-fast WiFi to encourage you to BYOD (Bring Your Own Device). The hotel has a range of cabin types from Premium Queen and Triple to First Class and the VIP suite to suit every budget and occasion.
Slated to become Glasgow’s most ‘instagrammable’ hotel with its modern interiors and clever technology, many cabins enjoy floor to ceiling windows with panoramic views looking out onto the industrial Hielanman's Umbrella of Glasgow Central Station and the city rooftops beyond.
The hotel will also offer YOTEL’s latest contactless technology including a new App with a downloadable SmartKey for low-touch cabin entry along with self-service kiosks, offering guests quick-time ways to check-in, check-out and manage their stay seamlessly.
Stuart Douglas, General Manager of YOTEL Glasgow said: “With travel restrictions easing and getaways feeling possible again, we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate the opening of YOTEL Glasgow than with an epic giveaway. Head to our Instagram over the next five days to win a stay on us and experience what YOTEL is all about.”
Launching in June, the hotel will also be home to VEGA, an out of this world bar, four-lane bowling alley and event space. Taking over the entire seventh floor with epic city views, VEGA will offer larger than life dining and cocktails and will host some of the city's hottest DJs. During the daytime, the unapologetically bright and bold space will lend itself well to co-working, casual meetings and private hire events.
Yotel is now open. Rates at YOTEL Glasgow start from £49.
