Ahead of this year’s National Dog Day, here are some suggestions of Scotland’s top dog friendly venues.

Gleneagles Hotel, Auchterarder, PH3 1NF
Bring your four-legged friends along with you to enjoy the ‘glorious playground’, Gleneagles Hotel and country estate. They can explore the 850-acre grounds and surrounding Perthshire countryside and enjoy a luxurious evening with you in your room, tucked up in their own dog bed with foam duvet.
