Ahead of this year’s National Dog Day, here are some suggestions of Scotland’s top dog friendly venues.
Gleneagles Hotel, Auchterarder, PH3 1NF
Bring your four-legged friends along with you to enjoy the ‘glorious playground’, Gleneagles Hotel and country estate. Take a stroll along Edinburgh’s historic royal mile and pop into Cannonball for a post-walk refreshment for you and your dog. Puppy love is in the air at all Contini venues where your fur-friends are looked after just as well as you. Dogs are welcome on the terraces at Contini, George Street and the Scottish Café in the Scottish National Gallery but are also welcome inside the bar area of Cannonball Wednesday-Friday at a 17:30 or 18:00 slot.
