Scotland’s lowest calorie lager has teamed up with the social star to challenge Scotland to a ‘patter battle’, with free Tennent’s Light merchandise up for grabs for anyone who can make the comedian laugh out loud.
Tennent’s Light is backing Paul as one of the funniest people in Scotland, and he’s willing to be challenged. Simply deliver your best joke in a bid to make funny man Paul laugh - succeed and you’ll grab yourself a goodie bag containing a Tennent’s Light pint glass and t-shirt.
‘Pints and Patter’ will take place on Glasgow’s Buchanan Street on Friday 10th June where Paul will be on-hand from 12-2PM to hear your best patter. The team from Tennent’s Light will also be on-site handing out vouchers for a free ice-cold pint.
The free pints of Tennent’s Light can be redeemed in four of Glasgow’s top bars including BAaD, 226 Gallowgate, Bar 91 and Committee Room No 9 between Friday 10th June and Monday 20th June 2022 (must be 18+).
Paul may even pour it for you himself, as he makes his way around the participating outlets on Saturday 11th June between 12-2PM.
“Tennent’s Light think that I’m one of the funniest people in Scotland,” says Paul Black with a smile. “And, as I’m always up for a laugh… I am willing to be challenged!
“I want your dad jokes and your bad jokes too. I might even pour the pint for you myself. See you there!”
Boldly Brewed for Good Times, Tennent’s Light is backing Scotland’s creatives by investing 3.5% of profits to Scottish arts and culture. Tennent’s Light have partnered with Paul Black, The Snuts and Brooke Combe in a bid to help creatives in post-pandemic recovery.
The Light lager has also issued five grants to some of Scotland’s most promising young creatives embarking on incredible projects in their subculture fields. These include rising-star rapper Bemz, r ‘n’ b singer-songwriter kitti, fashion weaver Jonny MacKinnon, film photographer Michael Rankin and sustainable skateboard designer, Danny Aubrey. The SpotLight winners have all been awarded a grant of £5,000 towards their creative projects and are being mentored by leaders in their fields along the way.
