Glasgow’s favourite sky-high bar and restaurant VEGA celebrates its 1st birthday this weekend, kicking off the celebrations by searching for VEGA’s birthday twin. Guests who share the same birthday weekend as VEGA can claim a free cocktail by showing ID to prove their birthday is 22nd, 23rd or 24th July, for birthday celebrations that are truly out of this world.
Located on the top floor of YOTEL Glasgow, VEGA has welcomed over 100,000 guests during its first year, an incredible achievement for the venue which opened in July 2021. The city of Glasgow has also enjoyed over 40,000 games of bowling at VEGA, with many more to come.

Celebrating one year as Glasgow’s premier nightlife venue, VEGA is searching for birthday twins from far and wide - anyone whose birthday falls on Friday 22nd - Sunday 24th July, inclusive. The special guests can choose any of VEGA’s signature cocktails and mocktails as their complimentary birthday drink for the cherry on top of their big day. Plus, guests can enjoy free use of VEGA’s brand new photobooth all weekend - ensuring VEGA’s 1st birthday celebrations provide a keepsake for all.
VEGA’s birthday twins can choose from an array of Cosmic Cocktails or Zero Gravity Cocktails, VEGA’s alcohol-free alternative. From the refreshing Mojo Redux; mango, mint, apple and lime swizzled with soda, or the VEGA Mai Thai, a tropical tipple with Havana Especial, Goslings Black Seal Rum, Cointreau, lime and pineapple. For a surefire way to get the party started, birthday guests can enjoy a complimentary Disco in the Dunmore, a retro-tastic blend of Koko Kanu Rum, pineapple, strawberry, and citrus, or enjoy a sophisticated nod to your big day, with an Orange and Honey Sour, expertly combining Grey Goose Orange Vodka, Cazcabel Honey Tequila and lime.
Especially created to celebrate VEGA’s first birthday, ‘Vegalicious’ cocktails will be discounted to only £5 on Saturday 23rd July. The birthday cake inspired serve mixes Baileys, Absolut Vodka, Crème de Cacao and coconut and vanilla syrup for a sweet sensation.
