Max's Bar & Cantina has announced a massive 5-day-long celebration for Cinco De Mayo - the 5th May. The celebration will see Max's introduce 5 special dishes and 5 special cocktails, available for 5 days for just £5 each. The celebration will also see the return of the famous £5 lunch at Max's Bar.
Cinco De Mayo, literally 'the fifth of May' which celebrates the Mexican Army's victory over France at the Battle of Puebla in 1862. Now Cinco De Mayo is celebrated with food and drink across the world.
Across 5 days from Wednesday 1st through Sunday 5th May, Max's Cantina will be serving up five special cocktails and five unique, authentic Mexican dishes all for £5 each. Cantina chefs will be serving up:

Max's Bar became famous for their £5 lunch deal, which ended in the summer last year as they shook things up. Now, it's back and better than ever. Customers can choose from either Nacho, Rice or El Gusto Stew Bowls with a free tea, coffee or soft drink.
Commenting, Executive Chef Joe Grant said: “We're really looking forward to showcasing more authentic Mexican flavours to celebrate Cinco De Mayo, as well as the real celebration - the return of the £5 Max's Lunch that everyone loved so much.
“Our lunch menu is available Monday to Friday, 12 noon 'til 4pm and you can choose from our three special bowls and even add a taco for just £2. It's the perfect tasty meal at the best price in the town. Don't miss out on a £5 Max's Lunch!”
