Organisers of the Great Scottish Run unveil 2024 medal design

With just 2 months to go, organisers of the AJ Bell Great Scottish Run have revealed the medal design for the thousands of finishers at the 2024 half marathon and 10k.

It’s the must-have Scottish medal that will be on display with pride across the city after Sunday 6 October!

This year’s Great Scottish Run medals are outlined with a border, styled with a twist to celebrate the traditional Celtic knot!

There are also 10 or 13 lines on the front of each medal to remind runners how many kms or miles they have ran.

You can't underestimate the feeling you'll experience on race day, and your AJ Bell Great Scottish Run medal will take you back to those moments every time you hang it around your neck!

Taking place on Sunday 6 October, the AJ Bell Great Scottish Run is a celebration of the power of running and is a run for everyone, of all ages and abilities, whether it’s your first 10k or your 50th half marathon.
