On Skin & Within, Ermana founder, Claire Gray is joined by inspiring guests as they explore wellness, self-care, and wisdom for the mind, body, and soul – perfect listening for a long journey. Series 1 features 10 x 30-minute episodes covering subjects like cold water therapy, menopause, self-love, natural healing, discovering the joy of sobriety and harnessing the power of kindness, amongst others. The podcast can be accessed at Skin & Within Podcast – Ermana Natural Skincare. Series 2 is already in production and will be released in the coming months.
Claire is a wellness warrior who started Ermana 10 years ago, because of issues with sensitive skin and not being able to find the right products. Claire went back to college to study anatomy, physiology and aromatherapy and went to London to study natural skincare at Regents Park College before creating the brand.
Claire had a high-powered job in retail working with a number of brands including Schuh, M&S, Debenhams, Internationale, Peacocks, Dobbie’s, Tesco and Sterling Furniture. On her 50th birthday, after dedicating time to train herself and refine her products, Claire gave up her day job to focus full time on growing Ermana.
Commenting on the news, Claire, said: “This really is a dream come true for my brand and the timing couldn’t have been better, as I celebrate 10 years of Ermana. The Skin & Within podcast is perfect listening for journeys, and I’m thrilled to be working with these two world class airlines, offering inflight entertainment for their passengers on long haul flights. I hope the passengers get the chance to sit back, relax and tune in as we take wellness to new heights!”
Ermana’s hero products and best sellers include face oils; cleansing oils; comfort balm and cleansing balm. All products are made in Glasgow in small batches and sold online and in lifestyle store, Starry Skies, 13 Battlefield Avenue, G42 9HT (where Claire hosts her popular Ermana wellness workshops).
Ermana has won a number of accolades over the years and has been acknowledged by the industry for their commitment to excellence in skincare. The awards celebrate their dedication to sustainability, transparency and efficacy.
Ermana products are sustainable, and only UK suppliers are used for all ingredients, packaging, bottles and jars. They offer a recycling scheme for bottles, with a 10% discount on future orders and use sustainable packaging for all orders.
To celebrate a decade in business and to thank customers for using Ermana, Claire has just launched a loyalty scheme for customers called The Glow Gang where customers can earn points on every order, celebrate their birthday with a special bonus and refer a friend to receive money-off vouchers.
