Glasgow Fort reveals new competition winning festive pancake coming to its markets
Glasgow Fort has announced the winner of its recent competition to design an exclusive festive pancake flavour.

The winning creation blends white chocolate, cranberry, and cinnamon flavours to take the Christmas crown.
The winning flavour was dreamed up by a Glasgow local, and has been brought to life by Dutch Pancake, one of the stalls at Glasgow Fort’s Christmas markets.
50 shoppers will get the chance to try the special edition sweet treat for free this weekend (Friday 6th December) before it goes on sale for all shoppers to enjoy until Sunday 29th December.
Praising the winner’s creativity, the judging panel agreed that white chocolate, cranberry and cinnamon is the perfect fusion of festive and unique flavours for a warming Christmas treat.
A proportion of profits from each of the winning pancakes sold will also be donated to Simba Charity – one of Glasgow Fort’s partner organisations that works to honour baby loss and help grieving families.
Phil Goodman, centre director at Glasgow Fort, said: “We’re always looking for new and exciting experiences to offer our customers and what better way to do that than handing over the reins to them to design their very own festive treat!
“It’s been great to partner with Dutch Pancake to bring the new flavour to life for everyone to enjoy, while giving a little back to a local cause at the same time. I know I can’t wait to taste the new creation and I’m sure it’ll be a hit with visitors too!”
