They are heading to the East Dunbartonshire town just weeks after wowing music fans from all over the world at Glastonbury.
It is hoped that thousands of people will descend on the town for the two-day event, being held on Friday August 29 and Saturday August 30.
The View star Kyle Falconer, Belle and Sebastian’s Chris Geddes and The Beatles Dub Club will be among the other acts performing.
On top of the music, there will be a range of fun family activities, food and drink on offer, as well as a street parade, with Milngavie BID also getting behind the festival.
Stewart Street Car Park will be the heart of the street party, with acts taking to the stage there, as well as at neighbouring Charlie’s Loft and Fullbacks.
Billy Milligan, owner of the venues, is organising the festival, which is now in its third year and featuring its most star-studded line-up yet.
He said: “We’re proud to bring the Milngavie Street Party back for 2025 and to have secured such a high-quality line-up. It’s crazy to think that some of these guys were on the stage at Glastonbury just a few weeks ago.
“It’s events like this which really help put Milngavie on the map. The street party is a great reason to come into the town and discover more about what we have here. Geographically, we’re ideally placed for an event like this, bringing people here to visit and stay.
“I don’t think there will be another town of Milngavie’s size anywhere else in Scotland putting on an event with such a superb line-up this summer.”
Red Dwarf and Coronation Street star Charles has a massive following for his renowned funk and soul sets, which he showcases on his 6 Music show on the BBC.
“We’re particularly excited to welcome Craig Charles back, following his incredible sold-out show here in 2024 – it was one of the highlights of the year going down brilliantly with locals.”
Events on the Friday will take place from 4pm, with the party starting at 12pm on the Saturday.
Activities during the day are free, with paid-for shows starting in the evening. Tickets for all events are available now.
Milngavie BID manager Tony I’Anson said: “This is going to be an amazing weekend, which will really showcase the magic of Milngavie as a great place to be. The great line-up that’s been secured is testament to that.
“We’re delighted to be involved and to be supporting Billy and his team. This is an event for businesses throughout the town to benefit from”.
The event will also champion the message for people to choose local as part of Scotland Loves Local Week, which draws to a close on August 30.
Attractions will include the live music stage, open-air bars, a street market and food court.
