One of Scotland’s most loved musical events - BBC Scotland’s Proms in the Park returns to Glasgow Green.

The world class BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Stephen Bell, takes centre stage performing classical pieces, traditional Scottish reels, as well as some well-known favourites. On the night the BBC SSO will also be joined by a number of special guests, to be announced shortly, who will bring a range of performances live to Glasgow Green for an evening of magical music.

The Glasgow event, a highlight of the city's cultural calendar, will be live on both TV and radio. It will be presented by tenor and BBC Radio Scotland presenter Jamie MacDougall.

Proms in the Park is part of the annual spectacular culmination of two months of music-making at the BBC Proms, as the world-famous Last Night celebrations spill out from London's Royal Albert Hall and thousands of people come together at venues across the UK to be part of the magic of the Last Night.
