Glasgow’s running highlight of the year is back. Each year 20,000 runners line up for the 10k & Half marathon, and 2,000 kids join the Super Saturday events. Runners follow a stunning route past the city’s most famous landmarks, along the River Clyde and through some of Glasgow’s greenest spaces. Starting in the heart of the city, runners soak up the atmosphere and music all the way to the finish in Glasgow Green, passing our famous entertainment zones every kilometre.
Glasgow comes alive on Great Scottish Run weekend and the people of the city will welcome you with open arms. It’s not to be missed! 99% of runners recommend this event but places are limited, so get in quick to secure your place on the start line.
While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Great Scottish Run are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment. All information (whether in text or photographs) is given in good faith but should not be relied upon as being a statement of representation or fact.
