The annual Glasgow Botanic Gardens Orchid Fair will be held in the beautiful and historic Kibble Palace glasshouse on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th May 2025.
This popular event, now in its 26th year, remains the only dedicated Orchid Fair in Scotland and provides a unique opportunity for you to come and admire gorgeous displays of these exotic plants, as well as purchase a wide range of orchids from specialist UK nurseries.
There will be orchid displays by the Scottish and other visiting Orchid Societies in the Kibble Palace, and the Glasgow Botanic Gardens orchid collection will also be on view in the orchid house.
The Scottish Orchid Society has had a long association with the Gardens and members of the Society will be on hand with demonstrations and advice on how to care for your orchids, and answer any queries you might have.
More information will be added to the Scottish Orchid Society website so please check that out for up to date details of the event.
Entrance to the Orchid Fair is completely free of charge, so why not come along for a truly 'tropical escape' right here in the heart of Glasgow's west end?
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
