Discover the incredible story of Glasgow's music scene with this two hour guided walking tour from Glasgow Music City Tours.
From the Royal Concert Hall to King Tut’s via the Conservatoire, the Music Mile tour is a whistle-stop whiz around Glasgow city centre, an area teeming with music venues past and present.
Hear tales from the heyday of the late, lamented Apollo; check out the home of Celtic Connections and marvel at the many successful bands that started out at King Tut’s.
Finishing at the famous venue, this tour includes the opportunity to follow in the early footsteps of Oasis, Blur, and the Manic Street Preachers. Depending on access, you may have the chance to stand under the lights at King Tut’s and grab a selfie on the stage that helped launch so many great acts.
The Music Mile tour is a great way to see what makes Glasgow’s music scene tick.
Due to licensing laws, this tour has a minimum age of 14.
