Registration is now open online for Baby's First Christmas 2023. Registration will close on Monday 6 November at 5pm.
If successful in securing a space within the first 250 eligible registrations, you will receive an invitation to attend the City Chambers on Saturday 9 December by email.
Unfortunately, due to the large volume of registrations received we are unable to notify individual unsuccessful registrations.
What is it?
The Rt Hon The Lord Provost of Glasgow Councillor Jacqueline McLaren is delighted to Celebrate Baby's First Christmas this year with a personalised certificate and keepsake memento. The first 250 eligible babies registered are invited to meet the Lord Provost and Bailies of the City at the City Chambers on Saturday 9 December. Babies attending will also have their photograph taken with the Lord Provost to take away with them.
Only babies residing within the Glasgow City Council boundary and born on and after 1 November 2022 are eligible to register.
Please note: Only one registration per baby will be accepted. Duplicate entries will be removed.
Baby's First Christmas is organised by The Lord Provost's Office and Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
