Are you ready to try your hand at stretch fabrics. Want to make yourself or your kids clothes without having to battle with the dreaded stretch stitch on your sewing machine? Perhaps you want to make dance costumes out of lycra to save yourself a fortune? Perhaps you are starting a business and want your products to be finished professionally. Well this class is for you!
During this class, you will learn how to thread our fabulous Husqvarna Amber-S overlockers.
We'll teach you how to thread your machine from scratch, how to change the threads without unthreading and then we'll move on to using the machine to make something from a stretchy fabric. We'll then move onto making either a slouchy tee or a stretch pattern of your choice. You may not get you tee or pattern finished but you'll have all the knowledge to finish it at home or at one of our Sewcials if you don't have an overlocker at home.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
