Hand embroidery is the perfect hobby for those who are not too sure about sewing but still want to give something creative a shot! It’s also great for accomplished sew-ers and quilters who want to spice up their existing projects with a little bit of surface decoration!
You don’t need any prior experience of sewing to sign up to our hand embroidery class, we’ll teach you a range of basic stitches to get your creativity flowing and your confidence up! Hand Embroidery is the ultimate mindfulness tool, as it allows you to completely switch off from the world around you and focus solely on your hands.
At our Beginners Hand Embroidery class we provide you with a choice of textile prints and then teach you all the skills and stitches needed to get started. If you (understandably) become obsessed with this craft our ‘Next Stitch in Hand Embroidery’ will give you a level up in learning more complicated stitches and even how to use embroidery stabiliser to transfer designs onto clothes/bags/homewares!
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
