Refugee Festival Scotland

About Refugee Festival Scotland

Refugee Festival Scotland celebrates the contribution refugee communities make to life in Scotland – the food and drink, music and poetry, art and ideas that people bring with them when they seek safety and settle in Scotland.

For two weeks in June, the festival offers people from different backgrounds the chance to meet and get to know each other better.

More than 100 events are part of the festival this year, in venues across Scotland. We have Syrian food and Ethiopian poetry, sculpture, dance, films, talks and more. Most events are free and all are friendly, welcoming and full of colour and creativity.

Thursday 20 – Sunday 30 June
