BUZZCUT Festival 2026 presents 26 artists and collectives across 3 venues - including Tramway - for 4 days this April. BUZZCUT 2026 presents performance experiments and Live Art from beyond the margins, showcasing work by artists from Scotland, the UK, and further afield.
BUZZCUT Festival is a curated gathering of performance practices that embrace complexity; a space for witnessing exciting performance and engaging in deep, generous dialogue. Supporting and platforming the communities whose lived experiences shape our thinking, how we understand each other and the world around us.
You’re invited to join us in a celebration of experimentation and risk, fueled by grassroots values and passion for the messiness in which ideas are formed.
BUZZCUT 2026 will take place across Glasgow, at Tramway, Strangefield, and Glad Café.
Expect… Living archives of Black rave culture, rituals of Queer and Trans remembrance, dance tributes to soap opera icons, participatory rituals of rest and rage, radical reimagining of the eucharist, nonbinary drag musical extravaganzas, one-on-one sharings, and more.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
