We are so excited to let you know our fantastic Summer Outdoor Drama Camps are coming this July, and available to book today! This year they are bigger and better than ever!
For kids ages 3-12, during the weeks beginning Monday 17th July and Monday 24th July 2023, we have a range of half-days, full-days, 2-3 day play-days and even a week-long course to choose from! Starting at £20 for a half-day to £120 for the full week, we aim to keep these classes as affordable as possible. For all those grown-ups who need longer days due to work commitments we also offer wraparound care each day. No need to stress about leaving work early to pick up. We’ll keep everyone occupied with lovely arts, crafts and stories.
Situated in the incredible outdoors setting of The Dumbreck Yard (The Outdoor Playbarn/Yoga Barn/Pony Club) in Pollok Park, we also have an undercover shelter for rain cover or shade; whatever is needed.
We use drama, storytelling and performance as a playful way for kids to express themselves, make friends, have fun and to explore the world we live in.
Drama is a proven to develop a young person’s confidence, creativity, co-ordination and communication skills whilst also improving self esteem, team building skills and empathy.
Learning through play in an outdoor setting develops our connection to nature, reduces anxiety and improves our all-round wellbeing, whilst all that fresh air helps us sleep at night.
Taught by experienced theatre professionals who specialise in working with children and young people, these workshops are perfect for learning through play, playing in the outdoors and having fun whilst doing it. Bring on the giggles, the creativity and the new pals!
