About Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde - Silent Cult Classics

Sit back and relax as we take you back to 1920 with the screening of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, a classic silent movie. Watch as Dr. Henry Jekyll experiments with scientific means of revealing the hidden, dark side of man and releasing a murderer from within himself. Accompanied by live musicians; the score will excite and terrify you. Taking place in the stunning 19th century Govan and Linthouse Parish church, you will be spell bound by the setting. Hospitality provided by local business wheat. This event is young adult friendly: anyone aged under18 will be required to be accompanied by a guardian, 18 +.

Govan and Linthouse Parish Church is located at Govan Cross, 769 Govan Road, G51 2YL. Great public transport links to and from Govan interchange via Subway and Bus. Glasgow NextBike stand outside for cyclists. Car parking for free at the rear of the Govan Shopping Centre. The venue is wheelchair accessible (please contact us prior to booking a ticket).

Tickets: Due to the requirement of limiting capacity and the physical distancing of our seating to be managed, we have had to limit ticket purchases to sets of 2 or 4 tickets per order. If you wish to book tickets for 3 people, please get in touch directly. Our seating plan only allows a maximum of 4 seats together. Bookings of 6 will be sat separately. Seating will be allocated on arrival.

Performance starts 19:00 with intermission

Runtime 1HR 20MINS

Covid-19 measures: 2M distancing of all seating across the whole venue, hand sanitation points at entrances and exits, face coverings must be worn where applicable in and around the venue, mobile ordering and table service for refreshment.
