Creative Ensemble promotes inclusive and collaborative filmmaking practice, with well-being and innovation at its centre.
This new arthouse film shows the weave between archetypal mythical life and the everyday, made as part of a research project which studied the effects of bringing in a pluralistic counselling model to care for cast and crew on wellbeing and creative possibilities. The autoethnographical films 'Becoming Geese' are also shown in the exhibiting space alongside an installation that takes you into the mythical space of the King's Cave on Arran.
'Becoming Geese' and 'Considering the Mythical' workshops take place on the Friday and then the Saturday. There is room for 20 people in each workshop! So actors, filmmakers, educators, film-lovers, therapists, historians and anyone with an interest in taking part, come and bring your voice and ideas to the workshop and to the creation of further autoethnographical films.
'Saviour's Shorts' on the Saturday is a matinee of Parallel Realms as well as a showing of six short films selected with mythical and inclusive practice as themes.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
