Enjoy a Walking tour within the Pollok Estate with one of our knowledgeable guides. You will learn of the history within the park dating back to the 1740's including the location of Polloktoun, and other key features in the Estate, highlighting how the Maxwell family lived here throughout the decades.
The route has areas of rough ground and involves crossing styles, for this reason we advise you are prepared with good walking boots and waterproofs to take part. This event is not suitable for small children, or anyone with mobility concerns.
This event is outdoors only, and does not include a visit within Pollok House, please book a house visit separately. Access to our café, toilets and gift shop is permitted.
Arriving for your event:
The walking tour will leave the front entrance of Pollok House promptly at 11am. We advise arriving for 10.45am
Pollok Country Park has restricted vehicle access at weekends. With this booking you will be granted access to Pollok Park at the Haggs Road entrance, and asked to park in the Riverside car park. Please have your booking details available.
Bring the kids along to Pollok House for one of their craft sessions where will enjoy an hour of craft activities while accompanying adults will be offered tea or coffee, and are welcome to join in!
