About Glasgow Cathedral Festival: Phantom of the Opera
Aaron Hawthorne (organ) and Rosie Lavery (soprano) perform their acclaimed semi-improvised accompaniment, pairing haunting vocal lines with the terrifying power of the cathedral’s organ to bring the film to life.
Consecrated in 1197, Glasgow’s medieval cathedral has played host to many spooky tales over the last 800 years. As you follow Christine and the Phantom through the haunted Paris Opera, will you dare to imagine what might be lurking behind the vast gothic columns, or in the soaring arches high above? Join these award-winning musicians for a hair-raising late-night experience—if you dare!
